We are looking for an experienced Product Manager, reporting into our Marketplace tribe lead, to help our Offers squad provide the most competitive deals in the market for every search, in an intelligent and trustworthy way.
As the Offers squad Product Manager, you will help us build FindHotel's vision of becoming a global accommodation marketplace. You will play a key role in this vision by building cutting-edge offers distribution capabilities that will power our own customer-facing product (Findhotel.net), as well also third-party products and have a decisive impact on the user experience and Findhotel growth.
As part of the scope of the team you will work on -

Optimising the distribution of offers across various demand platforms, ensuring every traveler is exposed to the most relevant and competitive offers.

Optimising offers accuracy in order to deliver the highest quality product and provide the smoothest experience to the end users.

Pricing offers for enriching our unique supply and providing even a better value to our end users.

Building a platform which serves billions of requests daily in a reliable and cost effective way.
What you will do:

Own our offers engine product, end-to-end, owning the offers platform backlog and service towards its clients.

Work with the rest of the business, product and the leadership teams to understand product challenges and set the team’s priorities.

Own and define the product strategy and roadmap, balancing the various needs.

Define KPIs and ensure that the product meets its goals, both quantitative and qualitative.

Discover new features, define enhancements, write requirements, prioritise and lead the squad with clear and well-articulated “what” based on an inspiring “Why”.

Work relentlessly to make sure your team is doing the right things, while not spreading yourself too thinly. A healthy balance of innovation, support and maintenance are key for all successful teams at FindHotel.

Always be up-to-date on the latest technologies, our tech stack and changes in our industry - especially in the content space. You want to be on the cutting edge of everything you and the squad do.

Be a champion of data-driven product development and lead the way in building cutting-edge analytical capabilities within the Offers squad.

Run a high performance team of 6 engineers and a product analyst. In the near future we plan to also add a dedicated data scientist to the team. As the Product Manager of the team you should be a source of inspiration for other team members and you will play a key role in keeping the team motivated and laser-focused on delivering value to travellers.
Who you are:

You preferably hold a BSc or MSc in Computer Science or another technical field, or have experience as a developer/engineer.

Extensive experience working for a product company in relevant roles. the most recent of which within Product Ownership/Management.

You have experience working in high performing teams that have built and deployed large scale backend services and machine learning based products.

You have a successful track record of shipping applications and services.

You know how to work with data, utilize it and enable your product to produce it.

You know how to inspire, motivate and support a team to get things done.

You know how to influence decision-making at all levels within an organisation and in a variety of contexts.

You have experience with data-driven product development and worked according to agile methodologies, with a passion for solving problems translating solutions into requirements that your team can execute.

You always strive for clarity and transparency -an excellent communicator that can effectively collaborate both with engineers and business stakeholders.
